Wow, almost a year of catching up!

Hello, everybody! Wow, it's hard to believe that it's been almost a year since I wrote. Well, I'm attending Hobe Sound Bible College. I was originally majoring in TESOL; but now, I'm an elementary ed. major/ TESOL minor. I've completed my first year and am very excited about the upcoming year.
Not only that, but guess what?!!! I'm dating a very wonderful, awesome guy named Nathan Hunt. Most of you probably already know this, but in case I haven't told some of you. LOL Anyway, I'm having a wonderful summer. Talk to you all later.

Catching up

Well, I did it!  I have officially graduated from high school.  There is just one little problem.  I forgot that I would have to tell Daniel and Sara "Goodbye" at the end of the senior trip!  Needless to say, I did NOT cry in public.  I waited until the hugs were exchanged, and the good bye's were said.  Then, when Daniel and Sara were gone, I walked into the educational building (the old church) and started to bawl like a baby.

I had a lot of fun though on the senior trip! For those who didn't know.  We three seniors went to Williamsburg, Vg for our trip.  We got to attend a Norfolk Tides baseball game; go to Busch Gardens twice; visit Williamsburg; and go to an IMAX film at the Vg. Air and Space Center.  It was AWESOME!  I had a lot of fun.

Then, hopefully  this summer, I will be able to go to Brazil on the missions trip.  I have around half of my money in.  God will need to work a miracle.  But, I think I have the faith.  God has been so good recently.  He has been right there when I needed Him the most.  God is faithful!

Interesting Story

Hi, everyone!  I'm back.  I got to go to Hobe Sound's Welcome Week.  It was awesome.  I got to go to classes, chapel, and the beach.  The beach was so nice and warm.  I actually got tan from the three or four hours that I was on the water and beach.

Anyway, the way down to Hobe Sound was quite interesting.  Our bus broke down in South Carolina on I-95.  We were stopped there for 7 hours. (3 hours on the side of the road and 4 at the the trucking station)  We broke down at 7 AM and were on the road again at 2 PM.  We got to Hobe Sound around 10 or 11 PM.

Our return trip was slightly memorable as well.  I got left at a gas station on the Florida/Georgia border.  I went in to use the restroom and change from my PJs and clothing to just my clothing.  When I came back out, the bus was not where it originally had been sitting.  I looked everywhere in the parking lot and came to the (scary) conclusion that I was Left Behind!  At first I wasn't that scared because I thought that I could just call our youth pastor and inform him that I wasn't on the bus.  Then, I looked at my purse and realized that my cellphone was still on the bus.

I ended up borrowing a cellphone from the gas station attendent, calling JonMark, getting Pastor Mark's number from  JonMark, and then calling Pastor Mark.  Pastor Mark later told me that everyone - except for Daniel - was asleep when I got off the bus. (He was sleeping on the floor, so I had to wake him up to get through the aisle.)  They left and people started to wake up.  Since everyone had been asleep, no one noticed I was missing until Daniel asked where I was and if I had gotten back on the bus.  They realized I was not there, and turned around and came back to the gas station.  Life is interesting to say the least!

Questions and confusion!

Life has been very confusing recently.  I'm no longer sure where I want to go to college.  (Like that's anything new.)  Actually, I know where I think I should go, but I don't want to take the risk in going there.  You see, I really have been confused and down to the point that I didn't even want to make a decision about college, because I knew that if I made it I would make it based on emotion.  And from what I've heard, that's not a very good thing to base a huge decision on.  So finally, I told God that He should just pick out the college because I didn't feel like I could choose right now.  After I left it in His hands the TESOL degree with missions at Hobe Sound kept coming up.  There are some major advantages to it.  So, I don't know.  It is something that I could do.  But, at the same time that is four years away from JonMark!  I guess this is where the rubber meets the road in trust.

I'm trying to find out if GBS offers something similar, and then will make the decision from there.  So, I'm just praying that God will make whichever college extremely clear to me, because otherwise I have a feeling that I will make the wrong decision.

He who began a good work in you; will be faithful to complete it.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

Having fun

This is really interesting.  I'm talking on cell phone and writing an entry on my blog at the same time.  What happened was that I was talking on the phone with one of my friends and they told me that they didn't know how to post anything on their xanga.  So, I'm walking my friend through it.  That is why I'm posting something right now.
